Damascus, SANA-President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Saturday Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdul Salam Haykal and a number of ministry officials.
The talks dealt with ways to enhance digital infrastructure and develop telecommunications services in the country.
During the meeting, the importance of digital transformation in supporting the national economy and facilitating citizen services was affirmed, along with the need to accelerate the implementation of vital technology projects.
The minister also presented the sector’s future plans, challenges, and ways to address them.
