Beirut, SANA- Head of Supreme Council of Evangelical Community in Syria and Lebanon, Rev. Joseph Kassab, congratulated Ahmad al-Sharaa on assuming the presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic.
“With hearts full of hope, we congratulate you on the occasion of assuming the Presidency of the Republic at this pivotal stage in the history of Syria”, Rev. Kassab said Monday in a statement to SANA.
Kassab added “Entrusting you with this responsibility is a noble message to lead a people exhausted by hardships”.
He went on saying “we, in turn, pray that your leadership will be an open door to create a modern and civilized state, in which the law is the standard, human dignity is the basis, and security and peace are the goal”.
