Paris, SANA-The French capital, Paris, hosted the first conference of the General Secretariat of the Syrian Community Association in France Saturday, attended by approximately
250 participants from the community, representing various professional and cultural specialties, including prominent legal and human rights figures.
The conference was held to present the association’s objectives and define its working mechanisms, as well as to organize transparent elections to select members of its board of directors. This will contribute to establishing an elected administrative structure that represents the Syrian community in an organized and effective manner across various French cities.
The electoral process witnessed a large turnout in an atmosphere of transparency and integrity, in addition to a friendly atmosphere and a spirit of understanding among the participants, reflecting the community’s need for an organizational umbrella that contributes to strengthening communication and integration among them.
