Damascus, May 3 (SANA)    Syria’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdel Razzaq, discussed ways to strengthen cooperation with the Mauritanian ambassador in Damascus, Taleb Mokhtar Sheikh Mohamed al-Mujtaba, in a meeting centered on joint housing and infrastructure projects.

The minister outlined the responsibilities of his ministry and its affiliated bodies, reviewed ongoing projects, and presented future work plans aimed at improving the engineering work environment, updating execution mechanisms, and raising performance to match the demands of the post conflict stage.

Both sides emphasized the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the exchange of engineering and technical expertise and the activation of joint action between the two fraternal countries.

The talks fall within the Ministry of Public Works and Housing’s broader efforts to expand regional and international partnerships and deepen technical and engineering cooperation, which in turn supports Syria’s reconstruction agenda and the improvement of basic services.
