Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa is set to undertake a working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, during which he will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference.

According to the Media Directorate of the Presidency, President al-Sharaa will hold talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, particularly in the fields of investment and economic collaboration. The discussions will also cover regional and international developments of mutual interest.

During the visit, President al-Sharaa is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh, the Saudi capital. He will also meet with leading global investment firms and international economic institutions.

The president will be accompanied by a high-level Syrian delegation, including ministers, senior officials, and national experts, marking Syria’s official entry into the regional economic renaissance. The delegation is expected to hold meetings with top global investors, leading companies, and major financial institutions to explore investment opportunities across infrastructure, housing, energy, healthcare, technology, and sustainable industries.

The ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative will kick off tomorrow and continue for four days, gathering world leaders, heads of state, top investors, and policymakers under the theme “The Key to Prosperity.” The event is expected to attract over 8,000 participants and feature 650 prominent speakers across 250 panel sessions, aiming to leverage technological and economic potentials to build a prosperous and sustainable future for humanity.
