Quneitra, April 4 (SANA) A team from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) inspected on Saturday the site that was targeted by the Israeli occupation forces which claimed the life of a civilian in the village of Za’roura in southern Quneitra countryside on Friday.
The UNDOF patrol examined the location of the strike and documented the damage caused by the Israeli attack, which constitutes a violation of the disengagement agreement and the force’s mandate in the area.
Residents of Za’roura stressed that repeated attacks on civilian vehicles poses a direct threat to the safety of families living near the separation line.
They called on the United Nations to take effective measures to prevent further violations and ensure the protection of civilians.
