Munich, Feb. 14 (SANA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel that al-Shaibani reaffirmed Syria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, saying that “Syria is for all Syrians.” He added that efforts are underway to stabilize internal affairs and advance reform and reconstruction, noting that while the first steps have been taken, the process will require sustained effort.

Prince Faisal said Syria’s stability is vital for the broader region’s security and described its success as a success for the whole region. He welcomed efforts to unify the country under a single leadership and emphasized that Saudi Arabia will continue as a key partner, supporting joint coordination during the coming phase.
