Damascus, Jan. 18 (SANA) Specialized engineering teams from Syria’s Ministry of Interior dismantled a car bomb parked on a main street in Deir Hafer, eastern Aleppo, causing no casualties or material damage.
In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the ministry said security forces are continuing sweeps in the area and urged residents to avoid suspicious objects and report them immediately to Interior Ministry units deployed in the city.
The Syrian Arab Army extended its control Saturday over Deir Hafer, Maskanah, and 34 surrounding towns and villages in eastern Aleppo, following the surrender of hundreds of members of the SDF organization.
