Damascus, Dec. 22 (SANA) The Department of Media and Communication at the Ministry of Defense announced that the General Staff of the Syrian Arab Army issued an order to halt targeting of SDF fire sources in Aleppo after neutralizing several of them, narrowing the scope of clashes away from civilians.
The Department of Media and Communication told SANA that the Syrian Arab Army today stood up to its responsibilities in protecting and defending the people, without making any moves to alter control lines, limiting its actions to responding to sources of fire.
Several neighborhoods in Aleppo city came under attacks today by the SDF using mortar shells, rocket launchers, and heavy machine guns, resulting in the death of two civilians and the injury of 15 others. Internal security forces worked to evacuate civilians and ensure their safety following these assaults.
