Damascus, SANA – Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Al-Saleh, reaffirmed that the Syrian people have been the cornerstone of resilience and recovery in the country’s most difficult times, highlighting the Syrian Development Fund as the official platform to drive national reconstruction.
“For 14 years, Civil Defense personnel have endured harsh and painful challenges, and throughout, the Syrian people have been their primary support and true backer at every stage,” Al-Saleh stated on the X platform.
Reflecting on critical moments, he said:“I will never forget the February 2023 earthquake disaster, when Syrians proved to be the cornerstone. Without your support, we would not have been able to achieve anything that day. Just a month ago, during the coastal fires, you once again stood by us, offering every possible form of assistance.”
The Minister emphasized that today marks a new step forward saying“We now have an official government platform — the Development Fund — serving as a space for all Syrians. Through it, I call on every citizen to contribute to rebuilding our homeland and shaping our shared future.”
