London, SANA- British Mission to Syria affirmed its support for the Syrian Civil Defense and all humanitarian workers in the country, hailing their courage in saving lives.
On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, the mission said In a post on the X platform that The United Kingdom “will continue to stand up for humanitarian access, protection and accountability”, noting that “targeting aid workers violates international law”.
On the fifth of this month, the British government announced the dispatch of a humanitarian aid package for more than 85,000 people in Syria to support humanitarian needs.
