Fidan calls on Israel to abandon its destabilizing policies before it’s too late

New York, SANA-Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reiterated his condemnation of the recent Israeli attacks on Syria, stressing that “Israel is pursuing a de facto policy of destabilizing the region.”

“Israel prioritizes its actions over its national security, ignoring any norms, regulations, laws, sovereignty, or territorial integrity of other countries in the region,” Fidan was quoted as saying by Anadolu Agency.

“Israel’s policies pose a threat not only to the region, but to itself as well,” Fidan added, calling on the international community, especially the United States, the European Union, and countries in the region, to show extreme sensitivity and put an end to Israel.

The foreign minister stressed that it is unacceptable for Israel to behave in a way that defies everyone, noting that his country has communicated its proposals on Syria to Israel through Turkish intelligence.
