Hama, July 15 (SANA) Al-Wahda moved to the brink of theSyrian Men’s Basketball League final after defeating Al-Nawair 90-73 on Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead in their Final Four semifinal series.
Playing at Saleh Al-Alwani Hall in Hama, Al-Wahda controlled the game from the outset, building a commanding 60-34 halftime lead before maintaining its advantage through the second half to seal a comfortable 17-point victory.
The Damascus-based side now needs one more win in the best-of-series to secure its place in the championship final.
Al-Wahda won the opening game of the series 78-64.
