Tartous, April 6 (SANA) – The Directorate of Sports and Youth in Tartous organized an artistic gymnastics performance to mark the International Day of Sport.
The event featured around 100 children from various age groups, who showcased a range of skilled and artistic gymnastics routines.
The head of the Individual Sports Office at the Directorate of Sports and Youth stated that the participants were between 5 and 15 years old. She noted that the event aims to instill sports values among children and nurture a love for physical activity from a young age.
Gymnastics coach Madeline Wassouf explained that the performances included contributions from three players, who demonstrated fundamental artistic gymnastics skills with precision and elegance. She expressed hope that the children will continue to develop their abilities and eventually compete in international gymnastics championships.
The event concluded with honoring all participants in recognition and support of their talents.
