Washington, March 13 (SANA) – The United States Department of State announced Friday a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the identification or location of newly appointed Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials.
According to AFP, the names were included in a list released under the State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program.
The list also includes Iran’s interior minister and the minister of intelligence and security, the report said.
The announcement comes amid continued regional escalation since February 28, as the United States and Israel carry out military strikes against Iran, while Tehran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting several countries in the region.
