Kuwait, Jan. 19 (SANA) Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Syria and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the administration of the Syrian state.
In a statement, the Ministry described the agreement as a long-sought step within efforts to build the Syrian state and its institutions, while strengthening security and stability in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Ministry also commended the efforts undertaken by the friendly United States of America to help reach this agreement.
The statement reaffirmed Kuwait’s firm position in support of Syria’s sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity.
