Aleppo, Jan 7 (SANA) The Aleppo Health Directorate announced on Wednesday that the number of civilian casualties resulting from shelling by the SDF organization of residential neighborhoods in the city has risen to four deaths and 18 injuries.
SANA reporter in Aleppo reported that the SDF organization is preventing residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods from accessing two humanitarian corridors designated by the Syrian Arab Army to allow civilians to move to safe areas.
The reporter added that the SDF also targeted Syrian Arab Army positions surrounding the two neighborhoods with gunfire and shelling, as well as civilians attempting to reach the humanitarian corridors.
Earlier, Aleppo Governor urged residents wishing to leave Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh to head toward the designated humanitarian corridors to ensure their safe exit.
On Tuesday, SDF organization shelling of residential neighborhoods resulted in the deaths of three civilians, including two women, and injuries to 15 others, including two children, in areas near Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud.
