Abu Dhabi, April 22 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa is visiting the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, where he is set to meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

The visit comes as part of a Gulf tour that began on Tuesday with a visit to Saudi Arabia, where President al-Sharaa met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss expanding economic and investment partnerships, as well as broader regional and international developments.

Earlier on Wednesday, President al-Sharaa met in Doha with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, where the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors.

President al-Sharaa reaffirmed Syria’s solidarity with Arab countries affected by Iranian aggressions.

The meetings also addressed recent regional and international developments and efforts to coordinate positions in a way that supports security and stability in the region.
