Occupied Jerusalem, Aug. 5 (SANA) – Israeli occupation forces continued demolition and raid campaigns across the West Bank, injuring a number of Palestinians and arresting others during raids in several areas.

A Palestinian youth was wounded by Israeli fire in the town of al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to WAFA News Agency.

The occupation forces, backed by large military reinforcements, stormed Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem and deployed heavily throughout its neighborhoods.

They forced several families to evacuate their homes and turned some houses into military barracks. They also assaulted an elderly man, injuring him, arrested a young man, and demolished a commercial facility.

In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested four young men during raids on several villages. They also converted a house west of the city into a military barracks, bulldozed land, and uprooted olive trees in Ajjah town, south of Jenin.

In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces raided homes and commercial shops and demolished three houses.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers seized hundreds of dunums of land in the northern Jordan Valley. They also demolished a house in Galilee, within the occupied Palestinian territories of 1948, under the pretext of lacking construction permits.

Over the past three years, settlers have seized tens of thousands of dunums of agricultural and grazing land in the northern Jordan Valley.

Israeli artillery shelled areas in central Gaza, accompanied by heavy gunfire from military vehicles, as well as areas southwest of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
