Maharashtra deputy chief minister killed in plane crash west of India

New Delhi, Jan.28 (SANA) Five people, including deputy chief minister of India’s western state of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, were killed Wednesday in a plane crash.

Indian official sources said that the plane was attempting an emergency landing at Baramati Airport in Pune, a city in western India, when it crashed and caught fire, killing five people, including Deputy Prime Minister,Pawar.

A video showed flames and smoke rising from the wreckage of the plane, which was scattered across an open field.
