Occupied Jerusalem, May 14 (SANA) Israeli military attacks across the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Thursday left at least one Palestinian dead, several others injured and multiple arrests reported, according to Palestinian media and local sources.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA said a Palestinian man was killed after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad, north of Gaza City.
Several Palestinians were also injured by Israeli gunfire near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Israeli forces carried out raids and arrest operations across several areas, detaining at least eight Palestinians, including a 12-year-old girl from Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah.
According to WAFA, Israeli forces also detained two doctors in the town of Tafuh west of Hebron, another Palestinian in al-Yamoun west of Jenin, and three Palestinians from Qalandia refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces raided several towns, including Burqa near Nablus and al-Zawiya west of Salfit, conducting searches and field interrogations. Authorities also closed a charitable association in Nablus and set up a military checkpoint near Bethlehem, causing traffic disruptions.
Palestinian sources said Israeli authorities ordered the seizure of around 61.652 dunams of land near Yaabad southwest of Jenin for what they described as military purposes.
At Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces imposed strict measures and reportedly assaulted Palestinians attempting to attend dawn prayers, while limiting access to the mosque courtyards during settler visits to the site.
