Riyadh, May. 21 (SANA) The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait on Thursday condemned the car bomb explosion that took place last Tuesday in the Bab Sharqi area of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

In a statement published on the “X” platform, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s firm and consistent rejection of all forms of violence, expressing its condolences and solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

The State of Kuwait also denounced the bombing that targeted the vicinity of one of the facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in Damascus.

In a statement published on the “X” platform, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Kuwait’s categorical rejection of all forms of violence and acts targeting security and stability, renewing its support for the Syrian Arab Republic and expressing sincere condolences to the family of the victim, while wishing the injured a swift recovery.

On Tuesday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that one soldier was martyred and 23 people, most of them civilians, were injured with varying degrees of wounds following a car bomb explosion near a building affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in the Bab Sharqi area of Damascus.
