Riyadh, May 5 (SANA) Saudi Arabia on Tuesday has strongly condemned Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reaffirming its support for the Gulf state’s security and stability.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which the two leaders discussed recent regional developments and ways to strengthen security and stability.
During the call, the Saudi crown prince expressed the kingdom’s condemnation of the “unjustified” attacks targeting the UAE.
Separately, the Saudi Foreign Ministry called on Iran to halt such actions and to adhere to international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
The developments follow reports of an Iranian drone strike near the Fujairah oil industry zone that injured three people, as well as damage to an ADNOC oil tanker off the UAE coast a day earlier.
