Damascus, Mar. 1 (SANA) – President Ahmad al-Sharaa affirmed Syria’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates during a phone call Sunday with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussing recent regional developments.

During the call, President al-Sharaa stressed Syria’s support for the UAE following the attacks that targeted its territory and several Arab countries, reiterating Syria’s firm rejection of any violation of Arab states’ sovereignty or threats to their security and stability.

He warned that such actions pose a direct threat to regional security and risk pushing the region toward further instability, emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only path toward resolving ongoing crises.

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed appreciation for Syria’s stance supporting the security and stability of the UAE and the wider Arab region, highlighting the strong fraternal relations between Syria and the UAE.
