Ankara, Apr.23 (SANA) Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, affirmed that his country’s goal is for all the world’s children to live in peace, security, and brotherhood, far from wars and conflicts.
“We are making efforts to stop conflicts, and our sole aim is for all the world’s children to live in peace, security, and brotherhood,” Anadolu Agency quoted Erdogan as saying on Thursday, during an event commemorating Türkiye’s National Sovereignty and Children’s Day
Erdogan pointed out that “wars and atrocities continue, and innocent children are usually the ones who pay the price.”
Every year on April 23, Türkiye celebrates National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, with Turkish people inside and outside the country participating in various events to mark the occasion.
