Abu Dhabi, April 14 (SANA) UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed on Tuesday with European Council President António Costa the latest developments in the region and their implications for regional and international security, as well as their impact on global energy supplies, international navigation, and the world economy.
The state-run WAM news agency said the talks also addressed recent Iranian strikes on civilian sites and infrastructure in the UAE and other regional states. The UAE described the attacks as violations of international law.
Costa expressed the European Council’s support for the UAE’s efforts to maintain security and stability.
A day earlier, Sheikh Mohammed met with Bahrain’s King Hamad in Manama to review developments in the Middle East.
