Abu Dhabi, Sept. 30 (SANA) Finance Minister Mohammed Yisr Barnieh and Governor of the Central Bank of Syria Safwat Raslan participated Tuesday in a high-level workshop bringing together Arab central bank governors and finance ministers on the sidelines of the 50th session of the Council of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Authorities Governors in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
The workshop featured a session on geopolitical disruptions, economic uncertainty and macroeconomic policymaking, as well as another on strengthening coordination between fiscal and monetary policies amid growing global uncertainty. The latter session was moderated by Barnieh.
On Monday, Barnieh participated in the 17th regular session of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers, also held in Abu Dhabi.
