Quneitra, Sept. 29 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces conducted on Tuesday incursion into an area west of al-Rafid town in the southern Quneitra countryside.
The occupation forces interrogated a number of shepherds in the area before physically assaulting several of them, including minors. The force later withdrew from the area.
Earlier on Tuesday, an Israeli occupation force conducted incursion into the outskirts of Zubaida village in the southern Quneitra countryside as students were heading to school, causing fear among them. Meanwhile, another force detained a young man while he was working at a farm on the outskirts of al-Hurriya village in the northern countryside of the governorate.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, detentions, land bulldozing and attacks involving shelling and other means.
Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. It has also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
