Occupied Jerusalem, April 14 (SANA) Israeli forces have committed around 2,400 ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip since a truce took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, resulting in 754 deaths and more than 2,100 injuries, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
In a statement, the office said the violations included 921 shooting incidents, 97 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas and 1,109 airstrikes and attacks, as well as the demolition of 273 homes and buildings.
The reported death toll includes 754 Palestinians, among them 312 children, women and elderly people, while 2,100 others were injured, including 1,096 from the same groups.
All casualties occurred within residential neighborhoods and outside the designated buffer zone, the statement said, adding that 50 Palestinians were also detained from within residential areas in Gaza.
The media office said the reported violations constitute breaches of international humanitarian law and undermine the ceasefire and its humanitarian provisions.
Aid and movement restrictions
The statement also pointed to a sharp decline in movement through the Rafah crossing since its reopening on Feb. 2, with only 2,703 travelers recorded compared with 36,800 scheduled to pass in both directions.
It added that 41,714 aid, fuel and commercial trucks had entered Gaza out of an expected 110,400, representing about 37% of the agreed deliveries.
The Gaza Government Media Office called on mediators, guarantors of the agreement, the United Nations and the international community to uphold their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, urging pressure to ensure compliance with the ceasefire, protection of civilians and the unimpeded entry of aid.
