Doha, April 14 (SANA) Qatar and Saudi Arabia have called for reinforcing the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, emphasizing the need to sustain de-escalation and promote regional stability.
Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed regional developments during a phone call on Tuesday, with a focus on the ceasefire and its implications.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers stressed the importance of maintaining the truce and enhancing coordination to prevent further escalation, while advancing efforts to address the underlying causes of tensions through dialogue and peaceful means.
Both countries have welcomed the ceasefire agreement announced between Washington and Tehran, describing it as a step toward reducing tensions and supporting stability in the region.
