Smoke rises following Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Occupied Jerusalem, May 10 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces continued military operations across the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others during raids, shelling and airstrikes targeting multiple areas.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces carried out raids and arrests in several towns and refugee camps across the West Bank, including Tayasir east of Tubas, Tuqu’, Al-Amari camp and northern Tulkarm, where six Palestinians, including five members of one family, were detained.

In Gaza, one Palestinian was killed and several others injured after an Israeli drone strike targeted a gathering in Al-Maghazi refugee camp early Sunday.

Israeli artillery also shelled eastern areas of Khan Younis and Gaza City, while Israeli naval forces opened heavy machine-gun fire off Gaza’s coastline.

Israeli forces additionally set up military checkpoints near Battir, Nahalin, Husan and Wadi Fukin, while raids were reported in Nablus, Balata refugee camp, Hableh, Hajja, Baqat al-Hatab and Kafr Qalil.

In separate settler attacks, one Palestinian was injured after being assaulted in the village of Al-Minya, while settlers reportedly stole around 80 sheep from the village of Kafr Malik.

The escalation comes amid worsening humanitarian and security conditions in Gaza and the West Bank as Israeli military operations and restrictions continue across Palestinian territories.
