Beirut, April 6 (SANA) At least 13 people were killed and several others were injured in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center.
An Israeli airstrike in the Jnah area of Beirut’s southern suburbs killed five people, including a 15-year-old girl and two Sudanese nationals, and wounded 52 others, among them eight children, the agency reported.
In southern Lebanon’s Tyre district, an airstrike hit several houses in the town of Burj Rahal, killing three people and injuring one. Civil defense teams were working to recover bodies from the rubble and clear roads, according to local authorities.
In Nabatieh, an Israeli drone fired a guided missile at a car, killing four people on board and setting the vehicle ablaze. A separate drone strike targeted the area surrounding Ghandour Hospital in Upper Nabatieh, killing one person, the report said.
Israeli airstrikes have continued in southern Lebanon, including in the Tyre, Nabatieh and Bekaa regions, with further casualties and damage reported.
