Kuwait City, March 27 (SANA) Kuwait’s Shuwaikh Port was targeted Friday by hostile drones, causing material damage but no injuries, the Kuwait Ports Authority said.
In a post on X, the authority said emergency procedures were activated in coordination with relevant agencies.
Earlier Friday, the Kuwaiti National Guard reported intercepting and shooting down two hostile drones in the country’s airspace.
Gulf countries have recently faced a series of Iranian-backed attacks targeting civilian infrastructure, service facilities, and residential buildings. The incidents are part of escalating regional tensions linked to the ongoing U.S.-Israeli–Iranian conflict, which is now entering its fourth week.
