New York, Sep. 23 (SANA) Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Qutaiba Kadish met on Wednesday with Stefano Manservisi, Chair of the Board of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), on the sidelines of Syria’s participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting addressed ways to strengthen and expand cooperation between the Syrian Arab Republic and GCERF in supporting local communities and implementing development and community-based projects.
Earlier on Wednesday, Kadish met with United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Jorge Moreira da Silva on the sidelines of Syria’s participation in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
