Abu Dhabi, March 5 (SANA) Six people were injured after debris from a drone intercepted by Emirati air defenses fell in the capital during ongoing Iranian attacks targeting several Gulf states.
In a statement on Thursday, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said: “The competent authorities responded to an incident involving debris falling at two locations in the ICAD 2 area following the successful interception of a drone by air defense systems. The incident resulted in six minor to moderate injuries among Pakistani and Nepalese nationals.”
Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks against several Arab countries, including the UAE, causing casualties and material damage. The attacks come in the wake of US-Israeli strikes targeting Iran since last Saturday.
