Palestine calls for international measures to halt unilateral Israeli acts

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community Sunday to take urgent deterrent measures to halt the dangerous escalation perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against the components of the Palestinian state, warning of the repercussions of continuing crimes and violations on security and stability in the region.

The Foreign Ministry warned in a statement today, reported by the Wafa Agency, of the escalation of crimes committed against the Gaza Strip, which include genocide, starvation, and forced displacement, in light of attempts to separate the Strip from the West Bank through settlement expansion, paving bypass roads, and intensifying what is known as pastoral settlement, which constitutes the violation of more than 60 percent of the occupied West Bank lands.

In a statement on Sunday reported by WAFA news agency, the Foreign Ministry warned of the escalation of crimes committed against the Gaza Strip, which include genocide, starvation, and forced displacement, in light of attempts to separate the Strip from the West Bank through settlement expansion, paving bypass roads, and intensifying what is known as pastoral settlement, which constitutes the violation of more than 60 percent of the occupied West Bank lands.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation authorities continue to implement unilateral measures aimed at imposing a new reality on the ground, including the installation of iron gates at the entrances to Palestinian cities, villages, and camps, and the bulldozing of hundreds of dunams of Palestinian land in the Tulkarm Governorate, under the pretext of so-called “security.”

It called for intensifying international sanctions and imposing binding legal measures on the occupying government, in accordance with international law, to compel it to halt its crimes and end all unilateral steps that threaten to escalate the conflict and undermine the prospects for a just and comprehensive peace.
