Qatar Condemns Israeli Aggression in Letter to UN Security Council

Doha-SANA- The State of Qatar has submitted an official letter to the United Nations Security Council denouncing the recent Israeli aggression, affirming it will not tolerate such hostile behavior.

In the letter, Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, described the attack as a “criminal act” and a “blatant violation of international law,” warning that it poses a serious threat to the safety of citizens and residents in Qatar.

She confirmed that Qatari authorities have launched a high-level investigation, with further details to be announced once available.

Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari denied reports suggesting Qatar had prior knowledge of the incident. In a statement posted on X, he clarified that the claims are false and that the only communication from a U.S. official occurred after the explosions were heard in Doha.
