Doha, SANA – Israeli occupation forces carried out Tuesday an attack on residential buildings in the Qatari capital, Doha, while the Israeli army stated that the attack targeted Hamas leadership.
The Qatari Al Jazeera channel quoted a senior Hamas source as saying that “Israel targeted the Hamas negotiating delegation while it was meeting in Doha to discuss US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.”
And the Israeli army said in a statement: “The army and the Shin Bet attacked, via the air force, Hamas leadership.”
Several explosions were heard in Doha earlier Tuesday, and plumes of smoke were seen rising into the sky over the city.
