Health Ministry discusses restoration plans for primary health care centers with WHO, UNICEF

Damascus, SANA- Restoration plans for primary health care centers in different areas were the main point of discussion during a meeting that brought together Dr. Zuhair Qarrat, Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health, and a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The meeting was held at the ministry building and attended by Dr. Razan Tarabishi, Director of Primary Health Care at the ministry.

Emphasis was placed on the need to use solar energy as a sustainable solution to improve the care environment.

The meeting also identified a list of health centers that will undergo restoration and will be equipped with solar energy systems to ensure a sustainable power supply, contributing to the continuous provision of health services.
