Hasakah, Feb. 13 (SANA) Syrian Health Minister Musab al-Ali visited al-Shaddadi Hospital in southern Hasakah on Friday as part of a national plan to strengthen healthcare in the country’s northeast.
During the visit, al-Ali announced that al-Shaddadi Hospital had received three new ambulances and four dialysis machines, while Hasakah Hospital received ten dialysis units. He said the eastern region would be a priority in the coming months, with plans to expand medical staff and enhance local healthcare services.
The minister also highlighted cooperation with international and local organizations, praising Alameen Organization and the King Salman Foundation for providing modern medical equipment. He added that additional funds would be allocated to support the health sector in Hasakah in coordination with other government ministries.
On Thursday, al-Ali inspected Palmyra National Hospital, reviewing services, staff preparedness, and ongoing rehabilitation work.
The visits are part of the Syrian government’s ongoing efforts to repair medical facilities and secure international support to restore healthcare across the northeast.
