Damascus, Jan .24 (SANA)Temperatures on Saturday remain below seasonal averages across most parts of Syria, said the General Directorate of Meteorology.
Temperatures are expected to be 3 to 7 degrees Celsius below average in central, northern, eastern and Jazira regions, while remaining near or slightly below average elsewhere, due to the influence of a weak upper-level low-pressure that will weaken by evening.
The weather will be partly cloudy during the day, with clouds increasing over coastal and northern areas. Scattered rains are expected over coastal and northern regions, parts of central areas, al-Jazira and southwestern regions, with snow or mixed rain and snow in far northern areas.
