Daraa, SANA- The Internal Security Command in Daraa Governorate arrested the criminal Shadi Smadi, a commander in the forces of the former era.
The Ministry of Interior explained via its Telegram channel that the criminal “Smadi” is responsible for the special guard unit affiliated with the criminal “Ghiyath Dala,” the commander of the so-called “Ghaith Forces” in the Fourth Division of the former era.
The Ministry stated that investigations revealed his involvement in leading military operations against members of the revolution in the governorate, particularly in Daraa al-Balad in 2021, where he committed serious violations against civilians, including arbitrary arrest, torture, and participation in the displacement of residents, in addition to his participation in the battles of Tafas and al-Yadouda.
The Ministry indicated that the criminal “Smadi” has been referred to the competent judiciary to complete the investigations and take the necessary legal action against him.
