CEO of Omran inspects cement plants in Raqqa, Deir Ezzor to boost productivity

Raqqa, April 11 (SANA) Mahmoud Fadila, Director General of the General Company for Cement and Building Materials Industry and Marketing (Omran), paid on Saturday a field visit to the company’s factories in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor provinces to assess the current status of operations and production at these facilities.

In a statement released on Saturday via its official Telegram channel, the Ministry of Economy and Industry announced that the visit included a meeting with the Governor of Raqqa, Abdul Rahman Salama, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and support the cement sector in the region, contributing to the development of this vital industry.

The visit also included an inspection of the Lafarge cement plant, where discussions focused on the production process, the challenges facing operations, and potential solutions.

This visit reflects Omran’s commitment to improving its performance and expanding its production capacity as it seeks to strengthen its market presence.

Omran company has previously announced agreements with several regional companies for the rehabilitation and investment of its factories, as well as the training of its personnel to enable them adopt modern technologies in the cement industry.
