Damascus, SANA – Minister of Agriculture Dr. Amjad Badr discussed on Monday with the Deputy Country Director of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) Khaled Othman ways of enhancing cooperation and coordinating efforts.
Both sides discussed, during the meeting, mechanisms to raise the level of supporting the agricultural sector, focusing on areas affected by fires in Latakia province, and ways of expanding the scope of cooperation to support food security and achieve an effective response to agricultural challenges.
