Damascus, June 30 (SANA) Syria’s Economy and Industry Minister Nidal al-Shaar met with a British businessmen delegation and representatives of British economic institutions on Tuesday to discuss ways to enhance economic, industrial, and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus, included representatives from the Business Councils Administration and members of the Syrian-British Business Council.
Both sides discussed available investment opportunities and possibilities for establishing partnerships between private sector institutions in both countries, contributing to developing economic relations and opening new horizons for cooperation that serve common interests.
The delegation will hold a series of sessions and meetings with relevant authorities and participate in economic events to explore investment opportunities in Syria and strengthen communication between Syrian and British business communities, supporting cooperation and partnership prospects in the coming phase.
