Quneitra, March 9 (SANA) – Israeli occupation forces advanced Monday evening into the villages of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah and al-Hurriya in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said that several Israeli military vehicles entered the area and set up two temporary checkpoints — one inside al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah and another on the road linking the Kassarat area with al-Hurriya village — where troops stopped and searched civilians. No arrests were reported.
“Israel” continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, along with raids, arrests and land bulldozing operations.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by “Israel” in southern Syria are null and void under international law.
