Washington, June.8 (SANA) Minister of Energy Mohammad al-Bashir held a bilateral meeting on Monday in Washington with Mark Rollins, Chief Executive Officer of HKN Energy, in the presence of Ross Perot Jr., Chairman of the Board of Hillwood Investment Group.
The two sides explored prospects for cooperation and investment in the energy sector, as well as opportunities available for the rehabilitation and development of oil and gas infrastructure, in addition to logistics and related development projects.
Al-Bashir presented the incentives, facilitative measures and regulatory environment designed to attract capital investment and guarantee a stable business climate for international partnerships in the fields of investment and reconstruction.
Mohammad Kanatri, Syrian chargé d’affaires in Washington attended the meeting.
