Moscow calls on international organizations to share in the humanitarian process offered to Syrian people

Moscow, SANA-Moscow called on the United Nations’ institutions to actively engage in the process of offering humanitarian aid to the Syrian people.

“We call on the humanitarian organizations concerned to immediately and actively share in the process of offering humanitarian assistance to the Syrians, particularly the residents of Aleppo which was liberated from terrorists and extremists,” Sputnik quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Thursday.

The statement added “We would like to remind the UN of the need for adhering to the known principles of offering the humanitarian aid, including respecting sovereignty and neutrality.

“It is unacceptable that some UN officials have become part of the propaganda campaign led by a number of western countries to doubt the efforts of combating terrorism exerted by the Syrian authorities and the Russian air force,” the statement said.
