Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise gradually to become around average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that today will be a typical summer day and the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty and relatively hot in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 36/22, Daraa 34/20, Hama 38/22, Homs 33/21, Lattakia 31/25, Aleppo 36/21 and Deir Ezzor 41/24.
