Damascus, SANA- Industry Minister Ahmad al-Hamu discussed on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Damascus Alexander Banoumarev fields of economic and industrial cooperation and ways to implement the agreed projects for the benefit of the two countries.
Al-Hamu who heads the Syrian- Belarusian Higher Committee stressed the need to activate cooperation in all industrial, economic and commercial fields, expressing readiness of the Ministry of Industry to provide all necessary facilitations to implement the agreements agreed upon between the two sides, particularly the project of establishing a factory for compiling trucks and buses and another one for producing hollow glass and medicine bottles.
For his part, Ambassador Banoumarev stressed Belarus’s keenness to raise the level of economic relations between the two countries and establishing industrial projects, particularly joint industrial projects that had been agreed upon at the Protocol of the meetings of the sixth session of the Syrian- Belarusian Joint Commission held in Minsk in 2015.
